From the opening track 'Sims,' Droo delivers a joyous and bitter blend of trance-like synth melodies, rattling percussion, harmonious bells. Between the valences of suspension and rhythmic pulsation, a melancholic but satisfying assemblage of tracks lulls the listener into the mellow motifs of this album. Its more minimalist tracks deliver a rich electronic tone, and dreamy melodies float over animating drum loops. Tracks like 'Storage Room' evoke a tension bordering on anxiety, with rapid rolls and eerie synths creating a distinctive ambience.

This is a fine album for a productive focus, interspersed with meditative reliefs. Longer tracks like 'What Must Be' open onto plateaus of sound that drone on over mechanical percussion, and make for a welcome bedrock for this delightful album.
